Gerhard Krug received his doctoral degree in Sociology from the University of Bamberg in 2009 and his post-doctoral degree from the University of Hannover in 2016. Since 2003 he has been working as at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg, currently he is senior researcher in the research department " Joblessness and Social Inclusion". Since 2010 he is also senior research and teaching assistant at the chair of "Empirial Economic Sociology" at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg. From 2016 to 2017 he was guest professor at the chair of "Empirial Economic Sociology". Gerhard Krug is member of the DFG Research Network “Social Networks and Health Inequalities” His research has been published among others in Kölner Zeitschrift für Soziologie und Sozialpsychologie, ILR Review, European Journal of Political Economy, Social Networks and European Sociological Review. His current research interests are in social network analysis, health inequality, and statistical methods. |
