| Michael Oberfichtner received his Ph.D. in Economics at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2015 for his thesis “Four essays in empirical labour economics”. He is a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in the department Active Labour Market Policies and Integration (Professor Gesine Stephan). Previously, he worked as a researcher at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg at the Chair of Labor and Regional Economics (Professor Claus Schnabel).
His current research interests are in empirical labour economics focusing on imperfect labour markets, industrial relations and the evaluation of labour market policies. | |
